  2. Must be set in the world of the Sky Pirates of Imperia.
  3. All subgenres welcome.
  4. If you have any questions, Tag a Governor in the Trench Community Discord.
  5. The winner will receive $100. 2nd Place through 5th Place will receive a $25 Gift Card to a bookstore of their choosing.
  6. The winning stories will be published on Maurice’s Website.
  7. Entries accepted through November 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Winners announced on or about November 30, 2026.
  8. One entry per person, per contest. Must be your own original work.
  9. Open worldwide to ages 18+, except Italy, Brazil, Quebec, and sanctioned countries. Void where prohibited.
  10. By submitting, you agree to the Official Rules. Winners' surnames and state or county may be published.
  11. Must be written by a human (no AI).
